The Slicethepie Exchange allows you to bet on how many copies of albums or singles an Artist financed on Slicethepie will sell over a two year period.
This is done by buying and selling Contracts (tradable bets) on the Trading Exchange.
The ultimate payout on each Contract is directly linked to the number of albums and singles sold over this period.
Contract prices on the Exchange are driven by supply, demand, rumor and speculation. A sell out tour, radio airplay, label interest etc are all likely to move the price of a contract.
You can trade your Contracts with other people on the Exchange at any time to try and make money.
Slicethepie, not the artist, is responsible for paying out on the Contracts at the end of the 2 year period.
