The Trading Exchange, structured as a betting exchange, enables you to speculate on the number of albums an artist will sell over a 2 year period with the ultimate payout linked to single and album sales.
The only way to secure Contracts at issue price (10p) is to first finance the artist by buying one or more Backstage Passes. This secures the right to buy 5 Contracts for each Backstage Pass you own.
If you do not own a Backstage Pass you can still buy Contracts when they go on general release. However they will then cost £1.50 each.
Contracts can be bought and sold on the Trading Exchange at any time.
